All these photographs were made near Hebron, NY, on an old dairy farm. The farm is now a private home and artist residency. Hebron is located between the Adirondack Mountains of New York to the west and the Green Mountains of Vermont to the east in a valley of rolling hills.
I’ve had the chance to photograph the farm over the last couple of years, not with the idea of a project per se, but simply to make photographs. As I’ve reviewed my work, I saw a progression of images and, ultimately, a small book.
A variety of cameras, both digital and analog, were used, from a FujiFilm medium-format digital camera to an Olympus-Pen half-frame film camera.
